Clutha Gold & Roxburgh Gorge
Two of NZ's Great Rides
Not a Rail Trail run fully supported and fully inclusive multi-day cycle trail tours on all the Great Rides accessible from Queenstown.
Our tours are fully supported and fully inclusive which means we organise everything for you, including all accommodation, meals, and luggage transport to the next destination. We don’t ride with you, we drive the support vehicle and do all the organising so we’re there to make sure you have everything you need to get maximum enjoyment
out of the trail and the area.
Our experienced Tour Leaders are first aid qualified with basic bike maintenance skills and who know plenty about the local area and environment, as well as the best places for lunch, snacks and photos. With a maximum of only 10 people per tour, we’re able to give you a very personalised experience and cater for mixed ability/fitness groups.
Our tours are 6 to 7 days long and average around 50km per day of riding. Our Clutha Canyon Combo™ (Clutha Gold and Roxburgh Gorge) is combined with the Around the Mountains Cycle Trail to give you a week long cycling holiday with incredible variety of scenery, food and accommodation. We will organise a Clutha Canyon Combo™ on it’s own if you have a private group of 8 to 10 people. Our season runs from late October to late April.
We have a crystal clear company vision, to be the best cycle tour company operating on each Great Ride included in our tours. Best to us is having the best service, showcasing the best examples of local food and wine, using the best rental bikes, finding the best characterful accommodation and, most importantly, providing the best overall experience
of the trail.
“We don’t just show you where to ride, we provide you with a complete experience that allows you to love each trail as much as we do”
